As I was at the salon today, getting my "hair did" (as they say), I opened my book and started to read. Now, I was about ten pages into the infamous Malleus Maleficarum and I devolved into a fit of giggles. I also realized that I had quite a lot to say about this book- and again, I was only a mere ten pages into it as of yet. So, this thought gave me pause...
"Why not start a blog about my literary adventures..." Ok, ok, that may be overstating the excitement of reading a historical text, but still, I thought it might be fun to blog about my thoughts about, reactions to and overall experience reading Malleus- a rather infamous piece of text, indeed.
I'll update in a bit with a brief history about Malleus Maleficarum and its impact on Western history. After that, I shall update my thoughts as complete each Question (akin to a chapter in this text). I may end reflecting about several chapters at a time given the length of Malleus (a total of thirty-five chapters). Thoughts and comments willkommen.
